The piston length isn't correct

I can't adjust it further than 7 1/4", I said the adjusted length needs to be 7 3/4" end to end,it comes apart at 7 1/2" ,the threaded part needs be a good 5/8" longer than it is now. Also the teflon OD is .622 not the .619 I asked for so it won't fit into the pump tube. Should I send it back?

Maybe you can just

make me the seal end again with some slightly different specs. I can get some 7/16" 20 threaded rod and assemble it to the right length myself. I'll pay for it no problem so you won't be out anything.

Your piston seal end will not be remove from lathe until

All dimensions are satisfactory and the hole is drilled and threaded

.618

Ok,left to right. You have the O-ring grooves just right already. The OD where the O-rings are and up too the point where the groove for the shrink tubing starts needs to be .618". My pump tube ID is at .620" this gives me .002 total clearence so no chance of O-ring extrusion due to high pressure.

Then move over 1/8" to the right of the O-ring grooves, which is were the shrink tubing groove will start,.618" up to that point. The OD for the shrink tubing groove needs to be .543",approx. 3/4" wide, this will get me very close to my pump tube ID which is .620. I can handle the shrink tube trimming.

To the right of the groove for shink tube the OD can be .610 just like you had it before. Thanks for the help here,I know it's a pain but will be worth the effort.

Now thats what I call
