chevell hmmm your piston !!! the issue is

While turning down to 0.619 the top layer of shrink tubing was cut through you did know there is 2 layers of tubeing.

You will need to install the top slider yourself, If I had more I would,

All and all not too bad will be done as soon as I know the length you need

piston

Was the piston turned down to .550 before you shrank it onto the piston? I will end up in the same situation if it's not turned down more. Or maybe I should ask can it be turned down to .550 without running into the threaded part? The adjusted length needs to be around 7 3/4" end to end.

Yup the piston

in the groove is 0.5495 0.550 the rod is 0.435 that gives you 0.115 to play with.

The tubing on the bottom is fine I think the top tubing being the first time I used the tube I I messed it up.

That stuff is a little wierd

when you first work with it. You have to get it pretty hot to melt the inner tube to the work and you probably can't take much off at a time when machining it down to size, that ptfe is harder than it seems. You could also go down to .545 groove depth if you needed more room to machine it. I have 60 K pumps on my 1322 and the piston still fits snug in the tube, pumps smooth as glass and so easy to pump. If you want to send it as is thats ok,or I can send you more shrink tubing. Let me know. Looks good so far. Is that a 7/16" fine thread your using?
