When cutting a Dicovery barrel to fit a 1377 1322 or 2289

to the length you want.

In this case an 18" barrel is needed and a barrel jig used for the set up to make line up a simple task.

The Discovery barrel has a flat on the top to accommodate a glow-thru sight
and the breech has a sight flat as well, we need to insure the exhaust port and the sight flat line up on opposite sides so we use both the barrel flat and the breech flat to layout out work.

The muzzle ends slides to the desired length, the barrel is set, marked
then the barrel is clamped to the jig the breech is removed and the barrel drilled.

as long as the operator is doing his job the one shot deal is done.

Clean up and bluing is all that remains

John
