Plastic Grip Repair.

Posted by - airgunsmith HomepageND, Feb/04/2017 at 01:48AM

Sometimes things happen and when parts are hard to find we fix them.

It may never be perfect but we do our best

Below is what happens when you tighten the screw way too tight.
Not much can be done with this, the best approach is to break
the crack all the way and to start fresh with more then one piece.

But with this one, we will try to do the best we can as a whole.

The above grip needs alot more time, but for now we need it to rest
then we can work the stress out of it and start to fill.

Below is a black grip were almost done with.
I should have grabbed a picture of the break but sometimes there
is no time.

At this point the break looks like a crack, still more filling to go

Here you can see the crack and chip that will need to disappear before
we call it good

Below is where all the dirty work begins

With more time needed to complete these repairs, I have no time
to type, more when I can get away.
