Repairing FX Cutlas synthetic stock

Posted by - piglet Nov/27/2009 at 12:54AM

Yeh...I have been asking around and searching google but no success so far. I'll try to call FX later today.

Best that I have come to is a US Patent paper that talks about synthetic stocks using a mix of polyurethane and silica-alumina ceramic microsphere.

This may be it as it would explain the shiny/reflective bits within the stock material.

Now researching what would be a good adhesive for a polyurethane and ceramic mix. I bought a Selleys Araldite Super Strength epoxy adhesive but am considering whether I should use a Polyurethane adhesive instead.
