Croman Phantom In consistanciesThat's not the half of it. I have reviewed a fair number of Crosman Phantom springer's and without fail the screw holding the barrel to the body of the rifle loosens up.This is one of several glaring QC problems the good folks at Crosman have so far as I know has not been resolved. It's a shame because the Crosman folks are always willing to try and resolve any problems with their products but I have no Crosman springer's in my collection.I have had a 22cal. Quest I really liked but "Red" lock tightening the pivot screw and machining brass pivot screw washers still did not produce consistent performance.Obviously the problems are more varied than barrel instability and loose screws.
