i have the gamo varmint hunter and it was working fine and all of a sudden it just stopped cocking. whenever i pull the barrel down to cock it, it just bounces back up and doesnt click or cock the gun. any help?

Fist thing I would do is to send it back to gamo if I bought it new.

If not I would look at the trigger to see if it was adjusted too tight or a spring has been broken.
