This gun is great! Holding it tight to your shoulder gives you a very stable shooting platform. It does work on small game as one full size squirrel found out when I took it from over 50 feet. I wasn't expecting to hit it - one shot and it was dead. Good solid feel - sturdy materials. The low powered scope was a nice touch.

This is the rifle that got me shooting again

The concrete plant I managed was infested with feral pigeons and after fitting it with a logun carbon fibre silencer I cleared the place.

Crows and rabbits soon followed and the ranges surprised me.

My biggest regret was selling it and many many expensive guns later I still think about dropping back to one

Got to like just about any version of this pistol.Out of the box it's easy to shoot streight and has enough power( at reasonable ranges) to take down small game.Just rememmber it's a pistol not a rifle.I don't care what kind of stock or barrel it has on it.Easy to modify the trigger to reduce trigger pull to around 2 lbs. which makes shooting accuratly that much easier.Everything you might want to know about this and other simple mods. to improve this fun pistol are easily found all over the internet.Good way to introduce yourself to the fun hobby of gun "tuning".If you mess up, parts are cheap and easy to comebuy. Why only a recommend and a "4" instead of a "5" you ask? Inorder to reach a price point somethings are more cheaply made then I like althougth Crosman will gladly sell you the good stuff once your hocked and I am hocked and yes I bought my share of the"good stuff" which made a good gun that much better. That's the charm of this gun as far as I am concerned. If you can relate to me on this point ya' just got to try one.

Good luck and shoot streight and safe.

Dollar to gun ratio this gun can't be beat!

It's not the only gun you'll want to own but in C02 there is isn't a better value out there.

It has plenty of power, incredibly accurate when scoped, and if you are not a power freak a cartridge will give you 30 - 40 shots with the majority of them consistent.

Enormous web support for this gun is unprecedented.

I have had this rifle for over two years. Groupings of 1/2" at 20 yards with the stock scope. Have done some polishing on the inside ports which helped FPS. Fun to shoot and those rats seem to run now when they see it! The 22cal is also a little slower than 177 but it hits much harder. I made a muzzle report to quiet it down. Stock is quit loud. Crosman did well with this rifle and the other great thing is you can modify it with other Crosman rifle parts to make it hit even harder. The Crosman Forum is a great place to learn more about what can be done with this rifle. Although I AM IMPRESSED WITH IT STOCK!

This gun seems to top all guns for affordability and accuracy. Right out of the box I was hitting my target at about 35 yards no problems. The neat thing about this gun is that it is fully able to be modified and with little money. You can achieve 750 fps in a matter of no time by just spending some good quality time enhancing its already good features. This gun is recommended for its portability also. Many airgunners have this gun and many are at their top performance by just making a few adjustments to the internal parts. Please keep in mind that you must be able to do some technical work and it is always best to seek professional help which is always available at the new crosman forum. YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED!!!
