I use the RX2 for target shooting and pest extermination. . I use 16 gr. pellets. I shoot between 30 & 75 yards. The rifle always performs well. The rifle is heavy!

I have only owned three air rifles in my life (I am 42) and this one has surpassed all expectations. This is the first "adult" air rifle I have owned. In .22 cal it is absolutely amazing. 14.3 grain RWS superdome pellets shoot at 810 fps. (This rifle has had 1,3xx pellets fired through it over the past year and is now fully broke in) I use it for plinking, shooting starlings, and hunting rabbits and squirrels. At ranges up to 45 yards (measured) I get full penetration (ie complete pass through) on squirrels and starlings.) I find the weight to help dampen recoil of the heavy spring/piston action.

You could certainly spend more money, get a more powerful rifle, but for the money this is an excellent rifle for anything you'd want an air rifle for.

WHAT CAN SAY,I SHOT MY BROTHERS .20 RX2 AT SOME TREE RATS AT HIS HOUSE. FIVE TREE RATS IN 6 SHOTS. I HAD TO SELL MY BEEMAN R9 .177, TO JUSTIFY THE COST OF THE RX2 .22 SINCE THIS WILL BE MY LAST AIR RIFLE FOR A WHILE. I FELL IN LOVE THIS AIR GUN. I LIKE TO HUNT AND THIS HAS THE POWER FOR ALL SMALL VARMINTS. I CAN TAKE THEM (SAGE RATS) UP 60 YARDS AND MAYBE MORE( I NEED A RANGE FINDER). THIS IS BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST BREAK BARREL AIR GUNS YOU CAN BUY. A LIFE TIME INVESTMENT. CAN'T WAIT TO GO SHOOTING. SHOOT SAFE AND OFTEN. TIM OF NORCAL

I would first like to say that i am an inexperienced shooter,(six weeks),I don't know details,or understand the airgun lingo at this time,(i am learning, thanks to the yellow forum)Now about the RX2 it is a beautifully, quality constructed air rifle, with awesome power along with glove fitting accuracy, that has me looking like a professional....hard to believe...but true..the rifle is on the heavy side but so am I, so the weight doesn't, bother me..besides, the weight helps keep my shooting

more accurate....I would, with out any doubt reccomend this rifle to any air gunner,(Experienced or Inexperienced)......joe cuz (akita breeder)

I have owned my Beeman RX-1 20 cal for 7 years. It's a great air gun, flat shooting and prefers FTS pellets. I just had it supercharged by Beeman and chronographed at 850fps on FTS. My hunting and plinking range is generally 30-40yds. With 1"or less accuracy at that distance. A great rifle, solid, beautifully finished and great balance. A bit heavy at about 10lbs for hauling around, but that's the only negative.

I have had a lot of air rifles throughout my life but I think I have found the last one I'll buy for a long time. Beeman RX2 is awesome, high power, super quality rifle. I like the tough laminated stock. It's made by HW of Germany and the heavy duty quality is evident all over. Superb machining, all parts heavy and well made. Cocking effort is not bad, very smooth. Firing behavior is excellent, just a fast "thunk" and the pellet is gone, not twangy like a spring piston gun. I shoot better with the RX2 than with a magnum springer, shot cycle is quicker and smoother. Mine is shooting 14.3 grain pellets at about 804 fps, for about 20 ft lbs. Plenty enough for hunting, great for long range plinking. Seems quieter than springer, also. Really slams cans, etc. Gun is very heavy, almost 10 lb, but that is because receiver, etc. is thick steel and everything is made to last two lifetimes. This is by far the best airgun I have ever had. I think it's the best rifle out there, without all the extra gear and contraptions (and loud discharge) of PCP systems.
